In 2016 and 2017, Attorney Mike Rudolph was named one of the top fifty lawyers in the state of Wisconsin by Super Lawyers. He was the only solo practioner.

Attorney Mike Rudolph has been practicing criminal defense and drunk driving defense for more than 35 years in Appleton Wisconsin. He is considered by many to be the best criminal defense lawyer in the Fox River Valley. Mike is known as a trial lawyer; he has tried more than 100 jury trials. He has practiced in more than 25 counties in Wisconsin. He now tries to limit his practice to Appleton and nearby Outagamie County, Calumet County, Winnebago County, Waupaca County, and Brown County.

Mike has been teaching other lawyers how to try cases for 32 of his 35 years. He has taught lawyers how to defend homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle at the State Public Defender Conference, numerous drunk driving seminars for lawyers for Lorman, PESI, and the Drunk Driving Roundtable. He has taught traffic law at the Wisconsin State Bar, and he was a featured commentator on WHBY for media cases.

Mike helped to found the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and has been a director on the board of directors all but one year since its creation. He is past president of the Outagamie County Bar Association (1997-98).
